Emanate class of 2017

Emanate graduation is upon us once more; it’s amazing how quickly 18 months of training fly by!  Our 2017 graduates are excited about the places God is leading them, sad to say goodbye to classmates and teachers, and perhaps just a bit apprehensive about their next big steps.

They’ve acquired a ton of tools to equip them for cross-cultural ministry, but their greatest resource by far is the Lord Jesus who sends them out with all authority and goes with them wherever they go (Matthew 28:18-20).  Yesterday, Emanate director Vern Dyck challenged the members of the graduating class to depend on the Lord every step of the way, regardless of their future role and field of service.  As Jesus told his disciples,

“I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

-John 15:5 (NKJV)

Will you join us in praying for the Emanate class of 2017 as they graduate?  Please pray that they will abide in Christ and bear much fruit as they “branch out” into the world.
