It is a wonderful thing to train individuals, couples, and families. Each one has a story of how the Lord brought them to where they are now and what He has been teaching them along the way.

Meet Jeremy and Kimberly

Q: Where are you from?

Kimberly is from Portland, Oregon and Jeremy is from Ajax, Ontario.

Q: What’s your story?

Kimberly grew up in a loving Christian home and came to believe in Jesus as her Saviour at a young age. After high school, she spent a year in a discipleship program in Mexico. This is where she was exposed to the need for the gospel to go to unreached people groups. God used this, as well as the ‘Perspectives’ class she attended, to challenge her to be involved in missions.
As a missionary kid in Brazil, Jeremy grew up being aware of unreached people groups and their need to hear the gospel. However, he only became personally challenged towards missions once he started reaching out and sharing his faith with friends in high school and university. It became clear that being a part of sharing God’s forgiveness to others couldn’t compare to any other job or career out there.

Q: What are your future ministry goals?

Kimberly and Jeremy are hoping to be tribal church planters with one of the unreached people groups of the world. Although they don’t know the details of their future ministry, they are trusting God to guide them as they move forward with the training. God has continued to grow them and give them opportunities to serve Him wherever they have been. However, they are so glad to be at Emanate right now! They know this is exactly where God has them.
